Why don't people change?

Today I want to talk to you about change. Change is a wonderful thing, if you're reading this newsletter it's because there's things you want to change in your life.

There are things you're looking to improve in your life.

You're wanting these areas to get better.

There is no doubt that as a brand new year approaches it signifies something to us:

A fresh start, a new beginning, a chance to recommit, to refocus and level ourselves up.

The truth is we can do this at any time, however it definitely feels like this is a pivotal time to shift.

So, let me ask you this:

Have you ever began your year with a great game plan, the best goals and plan you've written yet only to fall off your plan in relatively short time?

I can't tell you how many years that was me. LOTS. I knew I wanted to change however very quickly I was back to my old self.

The reason being is that so often we focus just on changing that behaviour and not changing the mental blueprint inside our mind.

As you focus on creating your best self in 2023, I'd recommend you create a SOLID game plan for your mental conditioning routine.

If you're going to transform your health, you'll want a conditioning plan. Well I believe if you're going to transform your life:

You need a mental conditioning plan. 

My 3 favourite places to start on that are these 3:

Meditation - I believe it has been the greatest tool to change my life.

Journaling - it's SUCH a powerful process to learn how to effectively journal

Studying - this is very different than just reading. To truly study a book, to study a program where you are taking notes, reading for the purpose of truly understanding.

If you're not sure where to start, begin with those. That could be 10 minutes each, 15, 20, longer. That's up to you.

Pick something that you know you can stick to. It's better to start small and build up than it is to jump all in and fail 2 weeks later.
